Jason’s duties as portfolio analyst and valued member of the investment team are varied and diverse. From trade execution, to investment research, to performance reporting, he makes his mark on the firm’s capabilities across a broad array of investment functions. Combining his thorough grasp of daily operations with his knowledge of financial markets, Jason is able to bridge the gap between the minute details of the moment and the dynamic investment environment in which we all partake.

Prior to joining the team at TwinFocus, Jason honed is analytical skills at State Street Corporation where he provided evaluation and reporting on client profitability in support of the mutual fund and institutional business units. This successful period at State Street came on the heels of his military career, where he served as a captain in the U.S. Army. Wherever Jason was stationed, from the evergreens of the Pacific Northwest to the sandy deserts of the Middle East, success inevitably followed.

Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Syracuse University. An avid fan of Syracuse athletics, he revels in the annual dominance of his beloved alma mater on both the hardwood and the lacrosse field. Furthering his professional education, Jason is a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. When not immersed in portfolio analysis or CFA preparation, Jason might be found pounding the pavement of “Comm Ave” on a training run or carving the slopes in Colorado where he was raised. From his Brookline apartment that he shares with his wife, Jason takes advantage of his easy access to the busy streets of Boston and the leafy western suburbs, knowing that the next adventure is never far away.
