As a senior operations associate, Taryn effectively becomes a family cousin to her clients, playing an up-front role in the relationship initiation process and the choreographing of portfolios and their day-to-day monitoring. No aspect of client servicing escapes her touch, whether her “cousins” be private clients, a family office, or an institutional portfolio. Her cell phone keeps her chromosome-close to her clients in all hours, and allows her to act on market prompts at the speed of a Verizon chime.

Taryn feels well at home with high-net-worth clients, having served them at Salomon Smith Barney as a registered client-service associate before stepping up to Twin Focus. Her Series 7 and 66 adorns her wall.

Taryn landed her Bachelor of Science in marketing, with minor in Spanish, at Bentley College. She kept her Spanish vowels and vocalics limber by going on to study at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, where she “fell in love with Catalan cuisine, folk tales, and those incredible Gothic streets after dark.” Boston-bred-and-buttered, Taryn is an alumna of Boston Latin School, and currently domiciles herself in South Boston (“within cheering distance, at least, of the Red Sox’s home plate”). Still bitten by the travel bug, now joined by the swimming itch, Taryn looks for ways to breaststroke her way to ever more exotic destinations.
