Wesley Karger, CFA

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Wesley co-founded TwinFocus Capital Partners and has spent the majority of his career as an entrepreneur in the financial services space. He serves as a trusted and valued advisor to the firm’s key clients, and his informed counsel and personal follow-through is the decisive factor in helping high-net-worth families and their foundations achieve success across multiple generations.


As managing partner, Wes advises private and institutional investors on their investment portfolio risk-management strategies, and works closely with clients to develop strategies that encompass family governance, intergenerational planning and investment education.


Prior to co-founding TwinFocus, Wes co-founded The Karger Group at UBS Financial Services, advising select institutions and high-net-worth individuals and managing their positions in equity, fixed income and alternative investments. Wes joined UBS from State Street Corporation, where he worked with the Investment Portfolio Group of State Street Global Markets, the body responsible for managing the banks proprietary balance sheet portfolio.


Wes holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from Boston University.


Wes currently chairs the investment committee responsible for managing the Massachusetts College of Art & Design Foundation portfolio. He lives in Boston’s historic South End with his wife, Ashley and their two children.
